ALYCE PLATT and ‘The Fish Shop Trio’ beckons us into her Funny Little World with the release her new single SAD. In a past life audiences held Alyce in genuine affection for her years on television, but these days she is also highly regarded as a singer, songwriter and recording artist.

Her enchanting original music blends seamlessly with the psychedelic rock of The Velvet Underground to the haunting ballads of Jacques Brel and Leonard Cohen.

Accompanying Alyce will be a trio of musicians from her all-star band, The Fish Shop Collective featuring bass player Stephen Hadley(Tex Perkins’ Dark Horses), guitarist Peter Farnan(Boom Crash Opera), and vibes and tuned percussionist Clare Moore(Dave Graney and The Coral Snakes).

Platt is an effective indie chanteuse, an expressive singer
and clever pop songwriter
